General Thoughts: This is the first I’ve read by Kristen Proby, and it won’t be the last. When I saw how many characters were featured in prior books, I was a bit worried I’d be lost. But I wasn’t at all. There is a lot of family around, and while I knew they were featured in other books, I was able to settle into this story immediately.

Kristen delivered a cute, fun, romantic novel with the perfect dash of steam to round it out. I loved the writing style, the characters, and the world she created. I read this in one sitting, and I had a smile on my face the whole time. If you’re looking for an easy, breezy fun romantic book, this is a great one. I can’t wait to read more by the author.

Steam Meter: ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥.5 Steamy. Not most frequent or detailed.
