Short Summary: “Remember what I said about monsters, pretty girl? When they find their treasure–” He groaned as I felt convulsions wreck every nerve, sending me to what I thought was akin to heaven. “They.” Thrust. “Never.” Thrust. “Let.” Thrust. “Them.” Thrust. “Go.”

Do you really need more of a summary than that?

General Thoughts: Juniper Nyx delivered a dark, suspenseful, romantic motorcyle club romance featuring a wounded, scarred hero, a sheltered virgin heroine that I absolutely loved. I did figure out a lot of the plot pretty early on, but I didn’t mind. The book was still pretty gripping. I read an ARC and so there were still a few errors that I’m sure have been addressed in the final copy. But apart from that, the writing was pretty good. There were a few moments, I thought technically the writing could have been improved. HOWEVER, the novel was so intriguing, that I didn’t mind.

I’m very curious to see where the author takes this next. She has created a lot of characters I’m very curious about and some clear books forward.

If you like dark motorcycle clubs, this one has you covered.

Steam Meter: ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥.5 Steamy. Not the most steamy or frequent but definitely there.
