Review: Dominant Love Duet by Evelyn Montgomery

I’ll be sharing my reviews for both books in the duet in this post.

My Rating: Amico: ❤️❤️❤️.75; Amante: ❤️❤️❤️.5

Disclaimer: I received a review copy of both books for free and am leaving this review voluntarily. Thanks Book Sirens.

Duet General Thoughts: It’s hard to give too much of an introduction here without giving too much away, so I won’t. This duet is a very steamy, dark rival mafia romance that deals with some dark themes. There was a lot going on in this duet. It is not the most airtight book plot-wise I read, but this duet is one wild ride that will keep you guessing until you turn the last page. If you like your books steamy and ones that keep you guessing, this duet has that. The characters were intriguing, and the books were very fast-paced.

Because of how fast-paced it was and how much happened, I thought it was a bit loose in the plot at times, but I really enjoyed this wild turn. Settle down and get ready to binge both back to back. Available on KU.

The first book itself doesn’t end on a cliff, but if you read the sneak peak chapter, yeah definitely does.

Amante Additional Thoughts: I liked the MMC better in the first one than this one. At times, it was hard for me to like him in this one. He’s not the most likable MMC. There was also a lot going on in this one, maybe even more than the first one.

Steam Meter: ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥 Steamy. Kinky. BDSM.
